Cape Cod Compound features a main house that anchors a collection of residences and working buildings on the Compound near the dunes and ocean. The main residence and guest house draw from the full Cape tradition, with familiar proportions and weathering shingles that allow the architecture to settle naturally into its coastal setting.
The surrounding buildings include a barn for garage and equipment storage, an equestrian barn with accommodations for the horses and property manager, and a barn-style guest house. Their forms and materials respond to the architecture of the Cape without imitating the residences. Wood siding is allowed to weather over time, giving each structure a quiet sense of permanence.
Fieldstone walls and gravel paths connect the buildings and continue toward the dunes and water. Together, the structures read as though they were added gradually over generations, creating a coastal property that feels established within its landscape.
