Riverdale Animal Shelter is a new 32,600 sf facility that brings animal care, adoption, and community programs together under one roof. OLSON LEWIS + Architects’ Animal Care Studio led the interior planning and design, working alongside a local architect responsible for the exterior.
The facility includes adoption areas, training centers, a veterinary clinic, surgery and dental suites, administrative offices, and outdoor courtyards. Each space is organized around its operational needs, supporting the shelter’s work from daily care and treatment through training and adoption.
