The design for Institution for Savings creates a new branch bank within a commercial space at Powder House Village in Ipswich. The program includes a main lobby, teller counters, private offices, a large employee lounge, and a drive-up window, bringing customer service and staff functions together in a clear, efficient plan.
Rather than adopting a conventional corporate interior, the branch draws on a traditional residential character. Carefully selected finishes and custom millwork give the customer and employee spaces a comfortable, familiar atmosphere that complements the architecture of Powder House Village.
