Charles River School’s two-story addition brings new dining and athletics support spaces into a coordinated expansion of the existing campus. The project converts and enlarges a former tennis barn as the school gymnasium and connects it to a new two-story building.
Physical education offices and locker rooms occupy the ground floor, placing staff and student support spaces close to the gym. Upstairs, a new kitchen serves a large communal dining hall designed for daily meals as well as school and summer program gatherings. An elevator provides accessible circulation between levels.
