Nick grew up in the Northshore area of Boston and currently resides in Beverly, MA. He completed his undergraduate degree in architectural engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology and spent several years working at a local firm before returning to graduate school. He received his Masters Degree in Architecture at Clemson University and, through the Digital Ecologies Program, discovered a particular interest in studying the theory, application, and impact of computational and parametric design on the virtual and physical world. Nick has several years of architectural experience working on various commercial, institutional, retail, and residential design projects. Before joining OLSON LEWIS + Architects, he spent over a decade specializing in designing and constructing animal care facilities across the country. He is passionate about the creative and thoughtful design of animal shelters that minimize animal stress and its impact on health and behavior while providing an enhanced environment for adoptions. Nick is excited to bring that passion and expertise to the OL+ team as part of the new animal care division, Blue Sky Architects. When not working, Nick enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, traveling with his wife, and spending time outdoors with their adopted dog, Lucy.
