After a century-old Tucks Point landmark was lost to fire, the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea and members of the Manchester Yacht Club worked together to rebuild the waterfront clubhouse. The new building recreates the character of the original while improving accessibility and adding modern functions, including offices and a catering-quality kitchen.
A traditional New England chimney, white columns, and the pediment of its Greek Revival façade restore the club’s familiar architectural presence. These details allow the rebuilt clubhouse to retain its historic character while better supporting the club’s current operations.
