As Infinity Pharmaceuticals outgrew its original laboratory space on Memorial Drive, the company expanded into the adjacent former Polaroid building. The project transforms 65,000 sf into an administrative headquarters that brings research and workplace functions together as the company grows.
The existing lobby was reorganized to include conference rooms, reception, guest seating, and a refreshment station. Accent walls display Infinity’s mission and values, giving the arrival space a clear connection to the company’s identity.
The program includes laboratories, a 192-workstation open office, and specialized areas for process scale-up, robotics, and analytical research. A café, boardroom, seminar space, and wellness room provide additional settings for meetings, daily interaction, and time away from focused work.
