Chris Belmonte

Chris Belmonte
Designer
Chris found his passion for architecture while walking through Boston with his family at a young age – an initial love of skyscrapers inspired him to go into the field. Originally from Amesbury, MA, Chris received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. During his six years in Rhode Island, Chris spent lots of time in Providence enjoying local offerings, including time in Newport exploring historic districts and taking long drives along Bellevue and Ocean Ave. While in school, Chris worked with many different firms and organizations and has experience working on historic homes with the Newport Historic District Commission. At OL+, Chris incorporated 3D printing, a tool we use for many purposes. He also helps build scaled 3D site models for OL+’s various institutional and hospitality projects to aid in the master planning process and help clients visualize their projects. Also, working on the residential team, Chris finds inspiration in the Prairie, Bungalow, Cottage, Midcentury, and Shingle styles. While enjoying a good “dad joke”, Chris is an avid fan of Frasier and plays bass guitar in a punk band.
