Chris Doktor’s Immersion Process is now being taught at state and national conferences. The methodology rests on interactive interviews with trustees, faculty, parents, students, and alumni; on-site observation; and synthesis of input to identify each school’s distinct lexicon. The built environment then reinforces each institution’s character. The process has become a signature of the firm’s planning practice and will define how the Education studio works for the next quarter-century.
