Harvard University Chemistry Labs — The First Life Sciences Commission

At Harvard University in Cambridge, Randy Lewis takes the firm’s first laboratory commission. Renovations within existing campus buildings reclaim space and update infrastructure for office suites and specialized laboratories serving tenured faculty. The project becomes the seed of the firm’s Life Sciences practice, growing through the 1990s and 2000s to include Millennium, Alnylam, the Broad Institute, and dozens more.
