In Brighton, Massachusetts, the firm restores a 1927 neoclassical courthouse. A barrel-vaulted ceiling, a lobby colonnade, and two commanding courtrooms are preserved. A grand staircase and two rear stair towers are added. The construction is phased so that the courthouse remains fully operational throughout.
