Honoring Timeless Craftsmanship: The Bulfinch Awards
Each year, the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) presents the Bulfinch Awards to honor outstanding contributions to classical and traditional architecture throughout New England. Named after Charles Bulfinch—America’s first native-born architect and designer of the Massachusetts State House—this award recognizes design excellence rooted in craftsmanship and tradition.
We were honored when Stephen Payne of Payne/Bouchier Fine Builders, sponsors of the Bulfinch Awards, invited OL+ architect Dan to join as his guest at the event. Together, Dan and Stephen had collaborated on WILLOWGATE, one of our most cherished North Shore residences—a true showcase for timeless, traditional architecture.
Events like the Bulfinch Awards reflect our shared commitment to creating Beautiful Places, grounded in authenticity, craftsmanship, and enduring design principles.
